Dr. Ryan Costner was raised in Hope Mills, NC. After high school, he served a two-year mission for his church in Hawaii and the Republic of Kiribati. Shortly after returning home he married his wife, Lacey, and began his undergraduate education.
Dr. Costner completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brigham Young University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed two surgical internships, first with the University of Iowa Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and then with the University of Missouri – Kansas City Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He recently relocated to Whispering Pines with his wife and four children. In his free time, Dr. Costner prefers to spend time with his family, exercise, woodworking, and travel. He is excited to be joining North Carolina Oral Surgery + Orthodontics.

Dr. Darren Cross grew up in Cambria Heights, New York. He majored in Pre-Med at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. His Bachelor of Science degree was received from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. His Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree was obtained from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. and his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) was awarded from Howard University Hospital. He was also named Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University, District of Columbia and Veterans Administration Hospitals in Washington, D.C. Afterward, he received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Health Sciences Antigua School of Medicine in St. John, West Indies.

Dr. Cross, his wife Pamela, and his daughters, Bria and Morgan, reside in Durham, NC. They are the proud parents of four Maltese dogs (Cody, Jodie, CJ, and PJ). In his spare time, Dr. Cross enjoys traveling with his family, attending church, volunteering, mentoring to youth and playing golf.

Dr. Dunn has outstanding training and experience as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, having served our military for ten years. She spent the last five years of her Air Force career overseas, first in Korea and then Germany, where she was a staff surgeon at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, our nation’s largest overseas medical facility. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.
She was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship by the United States Air Force while in dental school and has completed extensive training with the Air Force: a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Bolling Air Force Base (DC) in 2000 and a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Travis Air Force Base (California) in 2005. She left the Air Force a highly decorated officer. She is board-certified in her specialty and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Haralambakis (aka Dr. H) was born and raised in Melbourne Australia. His family is Greek and he lived all his teenage years in Greece. Dr. Haralambakis came to the United States at age 19 to attend college where he received his undergraduate degree from Campbell University with a major in Biology and Chemistry as well as graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Haralambakis attended dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill where he attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After that, he completed his Surgical internship for a year at Genesee Hospital in Rochester before going into private practice for 9 years. Dr. Elias Haralambakis has a quiet, but caring demeanor. He enjoys multiple areas of dental care including sedation dentistry. He has previously been a Lane & Associates Family Dentistry team member since 2009. He has two young children and has lived in Raleigh for 15+ years. In his spare time, Dr. H enjoys deep sea fishing and big game hunting.

Dr. Miller was raised in Dubuque Iowa where he attended Loras College completing degrees in Biology and Chemistry, graduating Maxima Cum Laude. After his undergraduate training, he worked in research for several years before attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. From there, he was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Navy. Serving for 12 years, Dr. Miller gained a variety of experience in his field holding a number of positions including being the dental department head on a US Naval warship, the USS FORT MCHENRY. Additionally, he was critical in the medical response to the Haiti earthquake and spent several months there as not only the dental department head but also the medical department head. From there, he completed 3 years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training and an Exodontia Fellowship at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. After his military career, Dr. Miller joined Lane and Associates Family Dentistry. He has over 350 hours of continuing education focusing on Implant dentistry and is currently an Associate Affiliate Fellow in and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Miller is working on becoming a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and earning Diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology, a distinction that only 250 US dentists have achieved.
Dr. Miller strives to use all of his knowledge and experience to provide the utmost care for his patients in a relaxed and compassionate manner. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. His hobbies include offshore fishing in the Outer Banks and Saltwater Aquaria.
