Proper brushing and flossing are vital to your dental health and poor brushing can cause permanent damage to your teeth. Here are some tips from our Ortho team for Orthodontic Health Month to help!

SOME TIPS FROM OUR TEAM:

  1. Always make sure you are brushing under and above your orthodontic brackets and around all of your teeth using slow circular motions.
  2. Remember to brush the inside and outside of both your top and bottom gums very lightly.
  3. Rinse your mouth very thoroughly with a special mouth wash after you have finished.
  4. Don’t forget to FLOSS!
  5. Be sure to check after rinsing, and if your teeth and brackets are not shining…brush again!
